Marrying Passion for Food With the Individual Science of You

Get "personalized nutrition" with Habit, a new local company at the intersection of nutrition, technology and food delivery. Habit, in partnership with Campbell Soup Company, launched in March and is the brain child of founder Neil Grimmer. "The Habit journey is about unlocking the story your body has to tell. And learning to eat by your own rules." Through bio samples gathered from a simple at-home kit, the team at Habit designs a DNA-driven nutrition plan based on your own body metrics and food sensitivities. The talented duo pictured above (l-to-r) is Habit's Director of Reseach and Development, Carrie Welt and Director of Culinary Operations, Alida De Paz. These two team up to bring you delicious meals with homemade sauces and wholesome ingredients tailored to you and containing your ideal ratio of carbs, fat, and protein. Maybe "it's time to find out what feeds you."

Imagine knowing how to conduct and perform a surgical procedure without ever operating on a body.

The Lucrative Promise of DNA Testing

Companies specializing in DNA testing are big business and the boom is far from over. Experts predict the market will expand to $340m annually within the next five years. Still we are confronted with the question "Who am I?" And DNA testing has the answer. Once limited to ancestry, DNA technology now tells us a myriad of things... the rate of how fast your skin will age, your illnesses traits, your own personalized medicine and fitness training, even pinpointing the exact breed of your dog. Companies like 23andMe, Ancestry, Living DNA, and DNA Worldwide are among the leading research companies. If you want to learn more about who you are and what's to come, the answer's in your DNA.
